We will be performing some planned maintenance starting January 6th, 2026 at 6:00pm CST. This maintenance will include many items including increasing available customer bandwidth, maintenance on battery backup systems, software upgrades, and some internal infrastructure upgrades. There will be intermittent service interruptions across all product offerings between 6:00pm and 10:00pm. Interruptions will not last the entire time.
The list of affected services includes, but is not limited to email, phones (ours and also cloud hosted systems), offsite backups, web hosting, VPS hosting, colocated server hosting, and cloud storage.

Update 7:45pm – Most web sites are back up. We’re still running into some issues with email and phone services. Bandwidth services have been upgraded.
Update 7:55pm – Email services and phone services should all be up now. We are going through each service/server to make sure everything is back online.
Update 8:01pm – Correction, email services were still being blocked at the firewall, and we are still checking into it.
Update 8:55pm – Email issues took a little longer than expected as it was not just a firewall issue. We’ve tested email incoming and outgoing and everything seems to be working. No emails should have been lost during this time. The maintenance is now complete and if you find any issues, please email us at support@internetpro.net or call 256-547-6817.
Update January 7 – 7:00am – We have received some reports that some users are getting a server error when logging into webmail. This is not affecting all accounts and the ones that ARE affected are working OK with traditional email clients (mobile, Thunderbird, Outlook, etc). We are looking into the cause of the issue.
Update 7:30am – We’ve found the root cause of the issue but are currently having to address it on a case by case issue for an immediate fix. If you are seeing this problem, please send the email address having the error to support@internetpro.net or give us a call to report the email account. We’re working on a global fix, but the estimated time to fix is about 4 hours on that.
Update 12:35pm – We’re still working on the global fix which is proving more difficult than anticipated. Please contact us if you are having an issue as we can fix this individually pretty quickly.
Update 2:45pm – The global fix is now in place and everything should be working properly. Please contact us if you are still experiencing issues.
